The Sisterhood is busy baking and preparing for our 50th Annual Bake Sale. The pre-order forms will be mailed the week of October 9 as well as being available in the Temple office.
Please consider not only baking, but helping out with the setup and cleanup. We look forward to participation from everyone to make this our best bake sale yet.
We are looking for pictures or newspaper articles relating to past sales. If anyone has anything, please contact Jennifer Britanisky.
The next Sisterhood board meeting will be October 8 at 12:00 noon.
Hope everyone is enjoying our beautiful autumn weather.

We had a good turnout for our kick- off to the bake sale November 2. As I have said before, this is our 50th year, and we want to make it the best ever. We have already started our baking and will continue through the next few months.
Teresa Harrison will be calling you about helping out. Please think about helping by either providing something for the sale, participating in the community bakings at the temple, set up the day before the sale, working the day of the sale, or making a donation to help offset our costs. We hope you will consider these options, as it is not only work, but a fun social time.
The next meeting will be on Sunday, September 17 at 12:00 noon in the Sunday School.
A sweet and Happy New Year to all. Cheryl August
Please contact Jan at the Temple by the end of this week if you wish to remember your loved one in the Yizkor book. Jan needs to start working on it very soon.
Sincerely,
Sandy Gordin

We are busy planning many upcoming events.
First is the kickoff to the New Year with a wine and appetizer meeting on August 23rd at 6:30 in the Sisterhood Room.
On August 27th is the 2nd Annual Fun Run on the trail near the Drayton Mills Lofts on Drayton Road. Starting time is 10:00. Cost is $15 per person or $50 for family of 4 or more. You get a t-shirt if you RSVP by August 12th. Please indicate your shirt size when you RSVP.
Of course, don’t forget about the bake sale on November 2nd, as this will be our 50th anniversary. We hope to get many more members of not only sisterhood, but also the congregation to help out and make this our best year ever.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.
